We listen, act, and transform
I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist at my own clinic, Pathfinder Counseling PLLC. With over 15 years of experience in the field and over 4 years as a practicing therapist, I am dedicated to empowering individuals, couples, and families to create momentum and change in their lives. I firmly believe that by opening ourselves to possibilities, we can experience significant transformation and growth.
My approach is primarily solution-focused, but I am also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Therapy for couples. My work is characterized by providing a safe space for clients to process their situations and explore new ways of being. One of my specialties is treating individuals experiencing breakups and heartbreak, but I also work with adolescents aged 14 and older, adults, couples, and families.
I am motivated by seeing clients become active participants in their own lives, achieving their goals, and making meaningful changes.
Outside of my professional life, I draw strength from being with my family. When there is free time left, I love training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance.
One of the core pieces of advice I like to offer to people I work with is, "If nothing changes, nothing changes."
